Hunter Mitchell named NJCAA’s Pitcher of the Week

The NJCAA released their Players and Pitchers of the Week on Wednesday and our own, Hunter Mitchell, was the recipient of this weeks national honor.

After an epic pitching duel on Saturday at Central Alabama, in which he tossed 9 innings (in a 7 inning scheduled game) of shutout baseball, allowing 5 hits and striking out 12 in the complete game effort, the honor was certainly most deserved.
